School Holiday Booking FAQ's

 When is the club open during school holidays?
Yes, we are open during all school holidays, from 08:00 in the morning until 17:30 in the evening.
My child has never attended Yaxley OOSC before, what do I need to do?
Please email us your completed registration form. The form can be downloaded here.
I'd like to book a HAF Scheme place, how do I do this?
If you're eligible for a HAF Scheme funded place, you'll have been sent a voucher by the local council already. You can book the HAF places via our normal Summer Holidays booking form, and you'll be asked to add your voucher number in to the top of the form. 
How many free hours does my HAF voucher entitle my child to?
Your HAF scheme free food and activities voucher entitles you to 64 hours of free childcare over 4 weeks of the summer holidays. This can be used continuously until it all runs out, ie. for full days over the course of a week or two, or 16 hours per week.

You can book additional hours outside of your voucher, these will be charged at the normal rate. Your free hours will be removed from your invoice and you will only be charged for any additional hours.
When is payment due for the summer holidays?
The summer holidays is booked in two halves - weeks 1-3 and weeks 4-6. Your first invoice will be due on the 1st week of the holidays for the first booking form, then on the 4th week for the second.You will be invoiced shortly after you book, but the payment won't be due until the weeks stated above. 

What activities do you hold during the holidays for the children?

We arrange a whole host of different activities for the children to take part in during the holidays, including a weekly theme each week plus external companies coming in such as giant inflatables and games, science experiments, sports and more.

Do you provide food and drink?
Throughout the summer holidays, we will be running a hot food option which can be pre-booked in advance for £2.00 per child, per day. We will release a separate booking form for this, along with the menus, a few weeks before the holidays start.

This service is free for HAF Scheme children, or we can also provide them with a packed-lunch if none of the hot food options are suitable. Please let us know closer to the time if this is the case.

Do I have to book for the whole 6 weeks at once?

No, we release our booking forms in 3 week blocks. You can book all 6 weeks at once if you prefer.


There will be one form for the first 3 weeks, and then another separate form for the final 3. We  will release a schedule of activities during July to help you plan when you'd like to book.

How much does it cost to send my child to the out of school club?
We charge £4.40 per hour in school holidays
Do I still pay for sessions that are booked and then cancelled?
Yes, unfortunately as soon as you have booked your child's place, we allocate the appropriate resources to provide for your child. We try our best to make accommodations for requests to change bookings, but one you've booked cancellations/rearrangements are up to our discretion, meaning you may still be required to pay for your child's place if you choose for them not to attend.
Are you able to administer prescribed medication for my child?
Yes, as long as you have completed our medication form and your child's medication is clearly labelled from their doctor then we can administer their proscription.
